This is my son's favorite kind of soup, and he loved it! It was actually really yummy. I will be bringing my leftovers to my mother to share in this recipe. The previous reviewer stated her's turned out thick. Mine turned out just like soup...... But, I did not stir it at all until I served the soup. That may of made the difference.

I need to add some comments to my review yesterday: I used a 6 qt oven roaster instead of a traditional crock pot. I cooked for 7 hrs between 175-200 degrees. This recipe would be better catagorized as a beef stew rather than a soup. It is completely thick enough to eat with a fork.
