Don't heat up the whole house for baked beans, slow cook them with this extra-easy version of everyone's favorite summer side dish.

My family has always liked my baked beans, but with this recipe they loved them. My nephew never ate baked beans till this recipe and he had seconds. Sweet baby rays was my bbq sauce of choice. The slow cooker was the reason I tried this recipe and it made it easier all around, from transferring them to cleaning.

I have been baking beans for more than 60 years and these are not baked beans. I have cooked real baked beans in my slow cooker using the regular Boston Baked Bean recipe. They came out great. Do not forget - you have to use real salt pork and molasses to make a good baked bean.

This recipe has been a hit for everyone that has tried it. I followed the recipe exactly for big crowds or half the recipe for a smaller crowd. Great side dish to BBQ Chicken.

Made for a Hamburger/Hotdog potluck I went to where I was asked to bring a side or dessert. These were perfect! They were really good and everybody loved them. The whole pot got eaten.

Portion size is "one serving" How big is a serving? The recipe reads delicious, want to make it in my little cooker.

Super fast and easy! So yummy, great for crowds, for a couple people, or for a family. This is definitely one of my standard BBQ dishes, then I can focus on the real dishes, burgers, kabobs, teriyaki chicken, smoked brisket, pulled pork, smoked pork loin, fried turkey, it goes well with anything. I usually add BBQ sauce and a touch of garlic, either fresh, pickled, or powdered.

VERY easy recipe! And everyone loved them, including my daughter who says she doesn't like baked beans. Made it with Original Jack Daniels BBQ sauce - absolutely wonderful! I'll never reheat regular canned baked beans again.
