EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Look for sloppy Joe sauce in the grocery store canned tomato and pizza sauce aisle. Taste the sauce before you use it in this casserole; sweeten it with about 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, if your desire.

Use lean ground turkey in place of ground beef.

Serve this shepherd's pie with sliced fresh fruit or a tossed salad.

This is excellent! I have made it several times now. I use just frozen corn instead because mixed veggies just seem weird in it. My husband loves it! Next time I am going to sprinkle cheese on it too. Pretty simple to make...

I used ground chicken instead of beef and it tasted sooooo good! It was so easy to make and I will definitely be making this again!
