Hearty corn bread topping serves as the "bun" for a saucy sloppy joe mixture. So good!

Fixed this one time and really enjoyed it; was rushed today and decided to use prepared sloppy joe sauce instead of following the recipe. Big mistake--not nearly as good. zthe original recipe is going into my keeper file, as is.

This is one of my "go-to" recipes when time is short. I typically use a canned sloppy joe mix and add a can of black beans. Everyone loves this!

.iThis is absolutely wonderful. Loved the cornbread on top A nice switch from just regular sloppy Joe's. warms up nice in the microwave with leftovers. Will definitely make again.

Recipe is perfect as is! Definitely a keeper! I was worried about how juicy the meat mix was and if the corn bread would cook through but all was well and delicious!

Making this for the second time for dinner tonight! I add a can of black beans for added fiber/lean protein. Also added corn last time. Used Manwich mix for the sauce. It is SUPER good and the whole family loved it the first time!

This receipe is a keeper.I added an extra squirt of mustard and a couple extra shakes of worcestershire sauce for a little extra flavor. It also takes a lot longer for the top to cook than is stated. I bumped the temp up to 400. I called a friend as soon as I tasted this to share the receipe.

This is a family favorite! My husband loves the cornbread topping and I love that I can "hide" finely chopped veggies in the meat sauce!

This was a surprisingly well-tasting meal and it was not spicy like regular sloppy-joes on a bun are. It has a easy flavor not bland or overpowering.
