This is a very good recipe, but there is nother one even easier:
1 rotisery chicken (We serve the legs and wings first and save the white meat for the dumplings dish)
In a pan with a cover, place chicken piaces, add 1 1/2 c. chicken broth 1 sliced carrot and 1 sliced piece of celery, dash of Italian seasoning. Bring to boil, add 1/2 stick butter and place on top bisquits from 1 can (8), each cut into quarters. Bring to simmer, cook with the lid on 10 min. and without the lid another 10 min.
