This is a very good recipe, but there is nother one even easier: 1 rotisery chicken (We serve the legs and wings first and save the white meat for the dumplings dish) In a pan with a cover, place chicken piaces, add 1 1/2 c. chicken broth 1 sliced carrot and 1 sliced piece of celery, dash of Italian seasoning. Bring to boil, add 1/2 stick butter and place on top bisquits from 1 can (8), each cut into quarters. Bring to simmer, cook with the lid on 10 min. and without the lid another 10 min.

Very tasty dish. The dumplings took a lot longer to cook than was written. It could have been because I used a very large electric fry pan and the juices were more spread out. The family loved it. I seasoned the chicken up with some Italian seasonings to add a little zip to the meal. Turned out great! I also added salt at the table. My picky teenage girls liked it too!

Excellent meal - even my picky college kid loved it. I would not add too much milk/water right away. I added about 1/2 a can of milk and it was a bit too much. There is moisture from the frozen veggies that thins the sauce. Add more liquid only if you really need to. I made this when I got home from work and it was pretty quick and easy.

Wonderful results! Very tasty and easy easy easy. I will thin out the soup a bit next time I make it since the cream of chicken soup was very thick and tough to stir. Used a bag of standard frozen veggies in lieu of stir-fry veggies and it tasted just like chicken pot-pie. Lovely comfort food. :)

Had to make something fast. Turned out great! Used poultry seasoning instead of tarragon, and a can of mixed veggies.
