I followed recipes with a few changes being that I used soy sauce instead of italian seasoning and added onions and garlic to the meat when browning. The rice turned out good but the meat was very very tough and dry. I used the same meat in the recipies and followed instructions, can anyone help? We ended up throwing it away. My husband didn't like the toughness of the meat...

this was good. But I can't give it 5 spoons...the beef seemed to get lost. However, as a side dish, omitting the beef, I would give it 6 spoons! The snap peas, carrots and rice was simply yummy! Too bad the meat got lost...and we buy organic beef that has an incredible flavor. So I know it wasn't the meat itself. Guess all the other stuff was just so darn good, it overpowered the meat. But definitely worth cooking as a side dish. I will use this often.

This wonderful dish is one of the best I have had for skillet beef. It went over very well at dinner and took a dish to both neighbors to try-they loved it as well and asked for the recipe! I will most certainly be making this again.

This was delicious. Next time I'm going to try it with pork tenderloin and add some celery and broccoli. This was a very easy recipe.

My whole famley went wild over this, no leftovers and I doubled the recipe. So quick and fast, almost as fast hamburger but much better.

Quick, easy and inexpensive. We had enough leftover for (2) lunches the following day. My husband and I really liked this healthy and satisfying dish. However, next time I will omit the Italian seaoning and add garlic and soy sauce for a more asian flare. Overall, great recipe!

Very quick and easy to make. Next time I'll add some additional veggies (broccoli and green/red peppers) to the dish.
