As an added item, I added a biscuit mix over the top and finished as directed. Very good recipie great as a left over.

My family loved this recipe. I was very pleased by how fast and easy it was to make. I love beef stew but I hate waiting for hrs for it to cook. This was done in less that 30 min. I also agree with some of the other reviews, it is more like a soup than a stew. However, if you reheat it the next day for leftovers it does seem to thicken up. I will make this again!!!!

I thought this was pretty good. I actually loved the spicy V8 in it and I was surprised by that. My frozen bag of veggies that I bought were not great. The bag said potatoes, carrots, onions and celery and there was not one potato in it, so I threw crackers in my bowl. It is more soupy to me than like a stew, but it still tasted good. So like spicy tomato soup with veggies in it. I'm glad I tried it. I will hope to find a better bag of frozen veggies next time. Also, I could not find chunky tomato sauce with garlic and herbs, so I used stewed tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano. I'd make it again.

My family loved it. I loved it because it was so easy to put together, delicious and different. I did add more vegetables though and used regular V8 juice, I don't care for spicy. Imagine a good hot stew that didn't take half the day the put together or all day to cook. Love it.

This is a real good recipe and easy to make. It is thinner than a stew and thicker than a soup. I did make just a few changes. I added 2 lbs of beef, fresh veg.s (4 med. potatoes, 2 cups baby carrots and 1/2 onion) in lieu of bagged. I did not increase the amount of any of the liquid ingredients. Also I used regular V8 juice because my family does not like the hot and spicy. Could not find any chunky tomato sauce with garlic and herbs so I used roasted garlic tomato sauce. Increased cooking time a little until carrots were soft. My family all loved it and was told to do this one again. I served this in soup bowls with garlic toast.

This is a great recipe! I found the chunky garlic and herb tomato sauce, it was Del Monte. It is a little more of a soup than a stew, but I wouldn't change a thing. The left over soup in your bowl tastes very good. The only thing I would recommend is using a bigger pot. In the skillet, I had to be very careful not to stir this up too much in fear it would spill on the oven. I live in the Chicago area and with the weather at -10 with out the wind chill, it warmed us up really fast. The spicy V8 juice had just a little kick and warmed us up even faster. I will definitely make this again!

This stew was so watery it was like soup and had an overpowering tomato flavor. It should be labeled tomato soup with veggies. I will not be making this again.
