Silly Cinnabunnies

Blogger Arlene Cummings of Cooking With Sugar shares a favorite recipe. Making an ordinary can of Pillsbury® Grands!® Cinnamon Rolls look like silly bunnies will make everyone smile.

I agree with Jonssponge. Pillsbury clearly isn't actually "rolling" their cinnamon buns any more. I tried to unroll one - even used a knife to help separate - it ended up a misshapen mess. Instead we cut 4 rolls in half, shaped the halves into ears & pinched them onto the other 4 rolls. They turned out cute! We used slivered almonds for the teeth. We plan to ice the whole bunny & use candy eyes & a "micro" marshmallow for the nose. These are a gift for my grandmother whose birthday is coming up. I know she'll love them! :)

OK Betty Crocker! I was SO excited to try out these fun little cinnabunnies. They are so cute and seem so easy to make! I bought the exact same cinnamon rolls shown in the tutorial and apparently YOU have decided to make the cinnamon "rolls" more biscuit-like these days. I have to rip the rolls apart and concoct some funky looking ears for my bunnies. Bummed, but I hope they taste good!! Is it so hard to make a cinnamon roll, a roll of dough like it is supposed to be? :(
