This recipie has everything my family loves! Instead of the smoked sausage, I precooked hot and sweet sausage and added it at the end! One dish meal, easy clean up and oh so yummy!

In southeast S.C. and southeast GA we add chunks of smoked sausage and whole small peeled onions to this and call it Low Country Boil. Delightful!

We made this and used imitation lemon juice because of hubby's citrus allergy. We put butter on everything...shrimp, corn, and potatos. I thought the potatos were a little soft but they were soooo yummy! The corn held the spiciness but with the sweetness of the corn, it was delicious! During Lent, we'll definitely pull this out to whip up. YUM YUM! I'm actually excited to eat this as leftovers tomorrow!

Try this recipe with crawfish tails, instead of shrimp. It's fantastic, a real cajun meal. We have it during the crawfish festival every year, during the harvesting of the crawfish.

I just made this for the first time and it was really good!! I like the fact that it just takes one pot to make! I would really enjoy doubling this recipe and making it for a dinner party. I also started the potatoes earlier than the corn so they would cook all the way through.

My hubby and I enjoyed this recipe. In fact I cooked it twice in one week. This meal is great for anyone looking for a quick meal. It does not lack in flavor, its wonderful. Try it. You will like it so much you will cook it twice in one week.

Wonderful! I've made it twice and it was delightful both times. Next time I'll serve the whole thing on a big platter and let people take what they want instead of serving up individual plates. I'll echo the comment about starting the potatoes 5-7 minutes ahead of the corn. That was a big help.
