The first batch I made of these was a disaster. Be sure to use very little dough and make fingers VERY thin. They wider with cooking. Making second batch now and hopefully they will be better.

I just made these today. It came out perfect! I added butter and made them really skinny and long. They do spread out a bit. It should look really thin before you bake it... then it will look perfect once its done. I also used Hershey strawberry syrup. Good luck!

I think that if I had made the sugar cookies including the butter, as directed on the package, they would have been easier to handle. Next time I will be sure to make them REALLY skinny as they spread out more than I thought they would so became Fat severed fingers.

These cookies were very dry and hard to form into fingers. I could press in the almond slices without crumbling the finger. Didn't see the point in scoring the "joints" since the cookie was so crumbly it already looked like it had joints.

I made these cookies for a cookie party, they looked amazing and were a hit. Forming the finger with the sand-like cookie mix was not as easy as it sounded. Any suggestions on adding another egg for additional moisture for easier molding?

I made these cookies for the last 2 Halloweens, and they were a hit! I made my "fingers" long and slender, and I even painted the almond nails with food coloring! They are life like looking, and actually creeped out a few people! Loads of fun!!!
