Seven Layer Magic Bars
a Christmas favorite!
cup butter or margarine
cup graham cracker crumbs
14oz can sweetened condensed milk
cup peanut butter or butterscotch flavored chips
cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
cup flaked coconut
cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)
Preheat oven to 350, (325 for glass dish). Melt the butter and coat the bottom and sides of a 13x9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle crumbs over butter, then pour the condensed milk on top of the crumbs. Top with remaining ingredients in the order listed and press down firmly with fork. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Chill, if desired. Cut into 36 bars. Store covered at room temperature.
