Sesame Pork with Garlic Cream Sauce

Ingredients

pounds pork tenderloins
2
tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4
cup sesame seed
1
tablespoon butter or margarine
2
cloves garlic, finely chopped
1
package (3 ounces) cream cheese, cut into cubes
1/3
cup milk
1
tablespoon chopped fresh chives or 1 teaspoon freeze-dried chives

  • 1 Cut pork into 12 slices. Flatten pork slices to 1/2-inch thickness between sheets of plastic wrap or waxed paper.
  • 2 Set oven control to broil. Brush pork with oil. Place pork on rack in broiler pan. Sprinkle with half of the sesame seed. Broil pork with tops 4 to 6 inches from heat 6 minutes; turn. Sprinkle with remaining sesame seed. Broil about 5 minutes longer or until pork is slightly pink in center.
  • 3 Melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook garlic in butter about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Add cream cheese and milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and hot. Stir in chives. Serve sauce with pork.

I made this recipe for my inlaws about a year ago. My husband has since then asked me to make it several times. My kids absolutely love it!!!

These were easy to make and tasty. However, you don't get a whole lot in the cream sauce, I would double the ingredients. Plus, this DOES NOT SERVE 6 PEOPLE we could barely serve 4, but we did and the portions were adequate.
