I really like the flavor of the ginger and sesame in this salad. I tried using ginger powder but the flavor is better with fresh. I use regular pasta noodles (linguine or spaghetti) and I double the amount of cayenne pepper for a little extra spice. I've also noticed that it tastes better if you make this a few hours before serving it so the flavors can blend.
