Quick and easy to prepare, creamy goat cheese topped with apricot jam makes a perfect appetizer spread for Food Should Taste Good™ sea salt brown rice crackers.

Ingredients

oz chèvre (goat) cheese, softened
2
tablespoons apricot jam
Fresh herbs such as thyme, chives, parsley, if desired
Food Should Taste Good™ sea salt brown rice crackers, as desired

Directions

  • 1 In small bowl, beat goat cheese until smooth and creamy. Spoon onto serving plate.
  • 2 In small microwavable bowl, microwave jam uncovered on High 15 to 30 seconds or until melted; stir. Spoon over cheese. Garnish with herbs. Serve with crackers.

Expert Tips

Some types of chèvre (goat cheese) have a smooth texture and mild flavor, while other varieties are still soft but slightly more crumbly. A creamy chèvre is great for this recipe.

Perfect as is for a small snack, this recipe can easily be doubled for a party appetizer.
