The recipe itself was just OK. I think the combination of the polish sausage and tomatoes together was what made it a bit off for me. It was quick and different. I am pretty sure the 3010 mg of sodium was a typo. I made this recipe with whole grain pasta, petite diced tomatoes with green pepper and onion in it, and regular polish sausage. We went without the parmesan. Combined total of sodium for the recipe came to 1230mg. Per serving 307mg. So I cannot imagine where the other 1780mg are hiding.

This was just OK. Did not like the polish sausage combined with the tomato flavorings. There are not 3010mg of sodium in this recipe. I'm sure that was a typo.

I made this dish with spiral pasta, and used lowfat smoked sausage. I also used fresh bell pepper and onion and did not add the parm cheese. I added in one can of tomato sauce after draining all the fat out of the pan. Mine was a healthier version and my family loved it. It was very tasty and I will definitely make this dish again.

thank you to the other review for making me aware of the amount of salt in this meal!! that is way to high for anyone- let alone kids. I will make sure to pay more attention to the very small details in these recipes (especially salt and fat content!)

3010 mg per serving of sodium????? The USRDA for sodium is 2000, and that is not for those on a sodium restricted diet!!!! I don't even DARE to make this for my family! C'mon Betty Crocker...we are supposed to be trying to eat healthier and you are putting out recipes with these levels?!?!?!?!?!
