I made this last night for dinner. as it was OK for a one time dinner but probably not a remake. No wow factor. However it is very easy to make and not time comsuming what so ever. I did switch out regular Italian sausage for Hot Italian sausage to give it the extra little kick.

I'm giving this 5 spoons for the taste -- but the recipe does need a little tweaking. Use a little less filling and make the crust thicker/less diameter, or else it will fall apart as you're trying to fold it over and when you go to serve it! This is delicious if you're a pizza lover like me...this one's a keeper we make often! (Seriously? I could just eat the sausage/cheese/sauce/mushrooms mixture all on its own. *nom nom nom*

We make these all the time. The crust can get really crumbly if you cook it too long. We switch up the filling all the time too. Great for kids!!

This recipe is amazing! I cook for two so it is nice to have something that my husband loves and is impressed with without spending so much time in the kitchen. I tried it with his favorite pizza toppings (Canadian bacon and pineapple) instead of the sausage. It was a hit. It cooked so fast! It only baked for 10 min in my oven.

I changed this recipe a bit to make it better. First of all, the 450 degree oven ended up being too hot, so I lowered the degrees to 400 degrees. I omitted the sausage, and instead added fresh mushrooms and onions. I used a 7.5 oz can of pizza sauce. And instead of adding parmesan on top, I added mozzarella. The end result was GREAT!

I run a cookhouse on a working beef ranch is SW Idaho. There are many times when the ranch hands need to take sack lunches instead of being able to come into the cookhouse for lunch. These make a very welcome change from having regular sandwiches in their sack lunch. Since the guys here aren''t big on any type of green or red peppers..I usually adapt any recipe to fit their tastes. I''ve gotten many "great lunch" compliments from these guys for having put this in their luch sacks!!
