Ingredients

can (18 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ fire roasted tomato cooking sauce

frozen cooked meatballs (from 16-oz bag)
4
hoagie buns, split
1
cup shredded pizza cheese blend or mozzarella cheese (4 oz)

Garnishes, If Desired

Green or red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
Thinly sliced sweet onion

  • 1 In 2-quart saucepan, heat cooking sauce and meatballs over medium heat about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated.
  • 2 Place each bun on serving plate. Fill each with 6 meatballs; spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons sauce over meatballs. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Top with bell pepper and onion. Serve with remaining sauce as dipping sauce.
