This was easy to make but lacked flavor. I added the taco seasoning to the crust, also, and some to the ground beef that I also added. Won't be making this again.

Great recipe! My guy loved and it made more than I expected. I read the reviews before making and added a few things. To the batter mix, I added a little taco seasoning which really added flavor. Plus, I added a little enchilada sauce to the salsa and beans mixture. Also used 97% lean meat. Really great.

Made this last night and it was a hit. I made this like a pizza, using 1/2 can refried black beans mixed with the salsa to cover the crust, topped with the rest of the ingredients then some chuncks of chicken I cooked with some taco seasoning and then topped the "pizza" with cheddar cheese after folding the edges in.

Made this for dinner tonight and it was excellent! Added a bit of taco seasoning to the beans and topped it with lettuce, green onion, salsa, and a bit of fresh cilantro. Will definitely make this one again!

I saw this recipe tonight and thought how easy this will be and quick i already had chicken thawed out that i was going to use for something different for dinner but i decided to make this instead and i am glad i did.i didnt have any corn meal for the dough instead i sprinkled some garlic seasoning in the dough to give it some flavor. i put cobly jack cheese on the shell then put cut up grilled chicken that i sauted and used a whole can of black beans didnt mix the salsa with the beans i made home made salsa to put on top after it was cooked and i added more cheese to the top of the beans i folded in the sides of the pastrie shell baked it for 25 minutes turned out perfect i had sliced tomato's. and Avacado's to put on top also made a side of refriend beans to go along with it. so many things you can do to this recipe. my family loved it will share this recipe with my friends and will for sure be making it again thanks for sharing this great recipe

This was pretty tasty and quick. I added Boca (soy) crumbles that I had mixed up with some taco seasoning for the added protein and texture and mixed some cheese into the bean mixture as well as sprinkling on top. Also topped w/ homemade guacamole. I really enjoyed it and will definitely make this again!

This was wonderful! And super easy to make! Even my non-vegetarian husband loved this! The second time I made it, I of course modified it.....didn''t fold the crust over, and more cheese.

Also added 1/2 pound lean ground beef before cooking, and added sliced olives and avocado on top instead of the sour cream. We will definitely have this again, especially since it is so quick and easy!

This recipe was delicious. It actually was given a positive review by my husband, who isn''t keen on vegetarian dishes. We used it rather than fish for a Lenten Friday dinner ... I''m sure it would be great with chicken, too.
