Salty-Caramel-Coconut Cookies

Why just eat sugar cookies when you cant top it off with chewy-caramel and coconut goodness. All topped off with a drizzle of dark chocolate.

Ingredients

package Betty Crocker Sugar Cookies
1
package Butter
1
Egg
1
teaspoon Gold Medal Flour
1
package Individually wrapped caramels
2
cups coconut
1/2
cup Dark Chocolate Chips
1
tablespoon Course Sea Salt

Directions

  • 1 Prepare and bake cookies as directed on packaging for the rolled cookies.
  • 2 Unwrap caramels and place in microwave safe bowl. Microwave for one minute. Stir caramels, microwave again until caramels are melted and smooth. Mix in Coconut into caramel sauce.
  • 3 Place spoonful of mixture on top of cookies and spread to the edge.
  • 4 Melt dark chocolate in microwave. Place in sandwich bag and cut off corner and then drizzle melted chocolate on top of cookies.
  • 5 Sprinkle cookies with a little bit of sea salt.
