This was amazing! Loved the taste of the ground turkey with the sweet cornbread. However, be sure to double the recipe of the cornbread (I did not use a mix - I made it from scratch) and it'll be more filling and better looking!

Made this for my husband and I... needless to say that we had enough food for the entire week! We loved this dish! I shared some with a friend for lunch and she loved it as well. Changes made: Before adding the cornbread mix, I added shredded cheese (Mexican style) and chopped green onions on top of the turkey/bean/salsa mix. I made my own cornbread mix but followed previous comments on adding more than what the recipe called for. Definitely did the trick! The cornbread recipe I use includes 2 tablespoons of sugar, which sweetens it and provides a nice contrast to the hearty, savory flavor of the turkey/bean/salsa. Lastly, we served our portions with a dollop of sour cream on top. Yum!!

Delicious! Definitely need two boxes of corn bread as recommended below, but very yummy! Will definitely be making again.

This dish is fantastic!! My husband and I loved it the first day and couldn't wait to have it for leftovers the next day! I make my own cornbread, so I put that on instead of the package. But I definitely followed the advice [of others] and made enough for what would have been 2 boxes/pouches of mix. It was so simple and so tasty! DELICIOUS :)

Yum this was really good! I made a couple adjustments though. I only used 1 can of black beans b/c I'm not a big bean fan. I also took everyone's advise a used 2 packages of corn bread mix. Turned out pretty good. Oh and I had to cook mine about 18 mins. Will defiantly make again.

I made this for my family the other day and it was a hit! It was cheap to make and I had almost all the ingredients on hand. I just used the turkey, creamed corn, black beans, corn bread and flour from the original recipe, but then I substituted diced tomatoes for the salsa, burger seasoning for the spices (it was all I had!), and threw in some hot sauce and some green onions from my garden. What really made the difference for my family was adding sour cream on top. It was fantastic! This recipe even filled my hungry family for 2 meals! A little went a long way.

This dish was a real winner! It is so simple to prepare and was delicious. I will add this to my permanent recipe box. Thanks to momof2rh for the suggestion about the corn bread. I agree...it needed more corn bread topping to fill it out. Everyone else, also, thanks for the great suggestions. They really help me because I am a novice.

This was yummy, I really enjoyed the sweetness of the cornbread mixed with the spiciness of the salsa and chili seasonings.

This recipe was awesome! My husband is really picky and loved it!(meat and potato kind of guy) I took the advise on the cornbread and doubled it. I also added a little extra chili powder to give it an extra kick. Try Trader Joes Garlic salsa with it. Yum! I will definately make this again, and again. Such a good meal to have on cold day.

This recipe was wonderful! I used two different kinds of beans and skipped the flour and it came out fine. It was even better as leftovers!
