Well, I don't know what everyone else is complaining about, I quite liked it. I guess I don't have as sophisticated tastes as others. The only thing I changed was to use envelope beef gravy mix in place of the jar...I like it better. Other then that, I served it with french fries smothered in the gravy and sweet corn on the cob. Delish!!!

Wow...I'm really glad I followed other reviewers' advice and added onion soup mix and Worchestershire sauce to the beef. With no seasoning other than pepper, it's basically just a big lump of fried meat. And I'm still not sure what the Bisquick added. That being said, this ended up quite delicious. Other than some much-needed seasoning, I followed the recipe exactly. I even made mashed potatoes and string beans...just like the picture. Easy and quick to make, very hearty and filling dinner. Definitely will make again and will probably add more seasoning next time. Maybe even some salt!

Not a favorite but it came out okay. The gravy seemed to be a bit much, so for leftovers I washed the gravy off and spread it over a salad.

Super good!!!! Everyone in my house loved it! Will make again. I added fresh mushroom instead of jar and I added a little seasoning. It was easy but messy...I don't like to get my hands all gooey and this will do that!

YUM!! This was delicious! Did use some suggestions from other reviews. Seasoned the beef a little using onion/mushroom soup mix and some garlic powder. I cooked the onions in a separate frying pan in butter then added the mushrooms and gravy. Also finished the cooking in the oven. The meat was very moist and was a hit with the family. I added this to my favorites!

I just made this recipe last night - very easy and tasty. I did add a little Worchestershire sauce to the meat. I'll be keeping this recipe to make again.

Made this for dinner and even my very picky 6 year old son ate it. Very easy to make. Try adding a packet of Lipton French Onion soup meat (dry mix) to the meat, very tasty!!!!

This was pretty good. Family liked it, which is always the test. I followed the directions and didn't add any seasoning, other than pepper, as I thought the gravy might make it too salty. However, it wasn't too seasoned at all. Next time I'll add a little seasoning to the meat before cooking.
