Time-saving prepared slaw gives you a jump start on a quick salad with fresh berries and purchased vinaigrette.

Ingredients

cups torn romaine lettuce
2
cups broccoli-coleslaw blend (from 16-oz. pkg.)

cup fresh strawberries, quartered

thin slices red onion, quartered
1/3
cup purchased raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing

Directions

  • 1 In large serving bowl, combine all ingredients except salad dressing; toss to mix.
  • 2 Pour dressing over salad; toss to coat.

Expert Tips

Broccoli-coleslaw blend contains shredded broccoli, red cabbage and carrots.

Make your own raspberry vinaigrette with equal parts of red wine vinegar, raspberry juice from thawed frozen raspberries, and olive oil. Shake in a small jar. Season with salt, freshly ground black pepper and a few raspberries; shake again.
