My family's favorite at the Holidays - a moist sugar cookie that uses sour cream to make this "cake-like" cookie dream!

cup Butter

cup Sour Cream

cups Flour

teaspoon baking powder

teaspoon baking soda

teaspoon vanilla

pound powdered sugar - FOR FROSTING
1/2
stick butter - FOR FROSTING

tablespoons milk - FOR FROSTING
1/2
teaspoon vanilla - FOR FROSTING
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar
  3. Add Eggs and Sour Cream, Vanilla and Dry Ingredients - mix until this forms dough
  4. Chill Dough
  5. Roll on lightly floured surface
  6. Cut out desired shapes for cookies
  7. Bake 8-10 minutes
  8. For frosting - add all ingredients listed and stir
  9. Add desired food coloring to frosting for fun decorating - ENJOY!
