EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

For Turkey Pot Pie, use 1 cup cubed leftover cooked turkey instead of the roast beef and chicken gravy instead of the beef gravy.

Add extra flavor to the topping by stirring in 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried dill weed or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder with the Bisquick mix.

Has anyone used this recipe with either ground beef or another cut of beef (I don't have alot of roast beef cuts in my freezer)?

An easy recipe that is very tasty and an excellent use of left over rump roast. I like 3/4 tablespoon of garlic power in mine.

We liked the beef pot pie even better than the chicken. It had a zestier taste which we really enjoyed. I made this for the first time several months ago and now we cook beef regularly to make this recipe. It is absolutely terrific and easy.
