Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Icing

This icing is sure to please! Icing is my least favorite thing in this world...however...this is the absolute yummiest way to top a cake :) And I LOVE it!

cup granulated sugar
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
cup butter
cup milk
teaspoon vanilla extract
tablespoons Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
  1. Add all of the ingredients except for the vanilla extract and Hershey's Syrup to a small pan.
  2. Put the pan on the stove and turn the burner on high.
  3. Mix together the ingredients very well while waiting for them to boil.
  4. Once it boils, let it continue to boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add the vanilla extract and blend together.
  7. With mixer, beat the ingredients for approximately 15 minutes...or until it becomes cool and reaches the consistency of icing.
  8. Ice cake.
  9. With the remainder of the icing, add the Hershey's Chocolate Syrup.
  10. Beat until well blended. Approximately 3 minutes.
  11. Add mixture to baggy and tie a knot.
  12. Cut tip from baggy and begin to write :)

When removing the pan from the heat, you may still see little bits of peanut butter, but it's okay :) it will fix itself when you mix it for 10 minutes.
