Even though the recipe seems flavourful and visually appealling , it is not Colombian at all. I am Colombian, familiar with foods and dishes from all regions of the country, and in spite of the amazing diversity and variety of ingredients and recipes, there is not a dish like this. Ingredients such as apricots are just not Colombian.The ingredients and spices used in this recipe suggest more a Middle Eastern or North African origin. |

Though it was easy to make, I found this recipe to be quite bland. It needed more spice. |
