Comments: After I made this pie I was surprised at how great it tasted. It had a rich chocolate taste and the almonds really made it. I would make this again in a heartbeat. My whole family loved the taste of it. That right there said that it was delectable. |

Comments: I made this pie yesterday and my family really liked it. I was short on time, so I substituted an already made crust and used Cool Whip instead of whipping cream (which may have changed the texture a little bit). This pie was extremely smooth and creamy and had a rich, yet light flavor. We enjoyed it and can't wait to have more today! |

Comments: I found this recipe to be very artificial tasting and cocoa-y. It was not a smooth chocolate taste, a little gritty actually and very sweet. I'll keep searching for a french silk pie recipe good enough to serve family and friends. This was not it. |

Comments: I found it to be an easy and elegant desert to serve when company was coming over. The pie is rich and decadent with a silky texture. My company thoroughly enjoyed the desert. Ive baked it on several occasions now; even just for my husband and I. You can keep it frozen a few days and it still tastes just as good as the day it was baked. It is EXCELLENT!!!! |
