I thought this was the worst french toast I have ever made. I love french toast and usually order it when we go out for breakfast. I have had it several different ways and this was by far the worst. I thought it would be good given all the reviews but it was not for me. I guess it is back to my old standby recipe.

My family LOVED this recipe. It is by the far best mixture I have ever tried for french toast. It was pretty simple to put together, we had all the ingre. on hand. Try this recipe, you WILL NOT regret it.mmmMmmMMMmmm!!

This trench Toast was great, bit I used pancake batter instead. And the children loved it.

This is a great recipe but do NOT use the thick Texas toast! the batter doesn't get done in the middle.

This is one of my favorite recipe's. I have tried making french toast in the past but it never turned out right...but this recipe is almost fool proof. I like the thickness of the batter because the bread is not soggy and dripping everywhere when your trying to get it to the griddle, plus it gives the bread a thickness when it's done.

This was different from my usual French Toast and my kids really enjoyed it. The batter was good as pancakes too. I let the bread soak for a few minutes to moisten the middle. This was fast, easy and delicious.

The cinnamon and vanilla made this recipe. Next time I will let the pieces of bread soak overnight to see if that helps make it more moist.
