Our family really enjoyed this soup! Instead of peas, we used asparagus, and added sauted mushrooms. I love this especially because I can use my slow cooker. Wonderful!!

I'm not usually one to go for creamy soups. However, the picture made it look very appetizing so I made it last night. It exceeded my expectations. It is a really delicious soup!

Love this soup! I didn't use the tarragon cuz I didn't have any. Just used herbs. It turned out wonderful. I used cornstarch instead of flour. Definately will make this often.

The recipe seemed to be up until the flour and evaporated milk. A 1/3 cup of flour is way too much! My soup turned into a gelatinous dough with vegetables. I think this recipe would be good without the flour all together, but if some thickness is desired, then maybe a tablespoon of flour.

This is the best soup EVER!! I left out the peas and added fresh mushrooms. OMG was it GOOD. This is a keeper for sure!

Good Stuff...here were my modifications...poultry seasoning, fresh turkey w/liquid smoke, chopped spinach instead of peas, and corn. Omitted the evaporated milk (due to allergy) and found that the soup was very creamy even w/o the evaporated milk!

Fantastic! However, I used 2% evaporated milk. The turkey could be added aboout an hour before serving so it will still be tender. Great flavor and a complete meal by itself.

We love this soup. I made it the first time with ham and have never looked back. I've made it both with and without the Sherry, I prefer it with, but it's darn good without. This is one of our winter favorites.

I thought the soup was very tasty. I love mushrooms, so I sauteed some and added them at the same time as the peas. I didn't have sherry so I left that out. Next time I will add it just to see what it adds.

This meal was delicious. I added a little bit of cognac to it which gave it a little kick. I would definitely make it again.

This recipe is amazing! I prepared it on the stove instead of the crock pot because I wanted it in a "hurry". I used pre-packaged chopped ham for the meat & omitted the peas. I used a half teaspoon celery seed instead of celery as my daugher won't eat fresh celery. No need for the sherry..it was fabulous without it.

I like recipes that do not use mixes - all from scratch. Too many of yours incoporate mixes and I find the shelf time is limited after they are opened. Thanks

I made this for my daughter who has two small children and wanted some meals for the freezer. Her two year old son is as delighted with this soup as is his mother!

I read all reviews first and added/subtracted, accordingly. What a winning soup! Kept basic ingredients but ditched peas and evap. milk; added shitake mushrooms, can of potato AND cream of celery soup, can of Mexicorn, and 1/2 a cup of Half & Half. Also, used Herbs de Provence instead of tarragon. Fish & tarragon..YES! Fowl? Never! I don't add rice or pasta to soup but make a separate pan of it, adding it with each bowl. Discovered Royal Blend mix: Brown & Wild rice w/ soft wheat and rye berries. Tried soup w/and without sherry...DEFINATELY add the sherry! A keeper!!!!

This was possibly the worst recipe I have ever used....no flavor what so ever and the Peas were the worst item to add to this soup....we had left overs and had to throw them away....just awful....

Great for a cold winter night. Tastes great. Rich and creamy, but not all that bad for you because fat free evaporated milk is used.
