Comments: I added some thyme and more salt. It made a large quantity and just was not as good as I had hoped it would be. Will not make again. |

Comments: Substituted 1 can peas, 1 can green beans and 2 cans mushrooms for the fresh mushrooms and zucchini. Added one minced seeded jalapeno. Didn't even need the cheese!! Very good. Could easily be made without the chicken for a vegetarian and use vegetable broth instead of chicken. |

Comments: So delicious! My husband is a meat lover so I almost doubled the amount of chicken, added more mushrooms (because we love them), and added our favorite seasonings such as lemon pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. It was very good. I served it on a stormy night. Perfect! |

Comments: Great meal for a cold night. A very hearty and tasty soup. The only change I made was that I added 1/2 cup more lentils and 1/2 cup more chicken broth. I also substituted the salt and pepper with Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning. |

Comments: I added a bit more veggies to this soup. The results were very good, making a rich and flavorful soup. I'll do this one again. |
