This was delicious!! And so simple. I would add more apples next time; or maybe I didn't use enough to begin with because I had an excussive amount of topping. But the topping was great. I didn't have nutmeg, so I upped the amount of cinnamon. Not sure I will even use nutmeg next time. Loved how easy, quick and great tasting this was! Will definitely be making again!!

Very surprised at how tender the apples were after cooking them in the microwave. Definitely will make again.

VERY yummy! I halved the recipe and used on pear an artificial brand brown sugar. The longest part was peeling the apples but from start to finish too 15 mins. I will be making this often!

Turned out great with my alterrations. I used sugar-free canned apple pie filling(1 can), spread in 5x9 glass dish, made the topping(1/2 batch) as directed with the exception of using brown sugar blend by splenda 1/4cup. Dotted the top of the apples with topping, then 2 small pats of butter, baked in convection/toaster oven at 425* for 20 min til browned on top. YUM

My husband really enjoyed it. He has asked for me to make it again. I did add more butter. The kids were split. Two said that they liked it and one said it was "ok". All of them ate it and then went back for 2nd's.

The crisp topping was the best!!! The apples were a little %0d%0awet. Next time I will toss apples with a tsp of cornstarch and 1/2 tsp of vanilla.

I tried this recipe yesterday for the first time and thought it was very good. Needs to cook and then be eaten warm from the microwave as it toughens up some after sitting for a while. Scoop of ice cream just makes it decadent! Was very quick and easy to prepare. I will definitely make again.

This apple crisp is delicious. I wasnt sure how a microwaved recipe would come out, but I am sure glad I gave it a try. This is now my favorite apple crisp recipe. Fast and delicious.

I baked this last night and 2 out of three of my children liked it. I did not put all of the crumble topping on it as I thought that it was too much. I saved it for another day/dessert. I would make it again as it was very easy. Make sure you peel your apples I cheated and used the pre-sliced ones...not good!

I admit I was skeptical at first, but it turned out fantastic. I have an old microwave, so it took a few more minutes. However, it turned out better than any apple crisp I've cooked in the oven!

This recipe is very easy to make and tastes like you worked all day. It is so easy, I've even made it while camping in my pop up tent camper! Everyone loves it! When camping, I serve it topped with whipped topping, since I have no way to keep ice cream frozen and it is just great!

Too much nutmeg and oats, not enough brown sugar and cinnamon.

Part 2We tried this recipe tonight following the recipe with the only substitution being the Reduced Fat Bisquick - and it was wonderful! My previous review used Splenda brown sugar in place of regular brown sugar and it was very dry with a hard crust. This time it turned out wonderfully - soft, gooey, comforting and fabulous! My children put a scoop of Edy's Slow Churned Pumpkin ice cream on it and couldn't eat their dessert fast enough. 2 thumbs up!

TRY THIS!!! I used Paula Red's when making this and it turned out wonderful. My 15 month old even liked it. My husband liked it so much, he asked me to make a second so he could bring it to work for the morning meeting. I have a turntable in my microwave(1100 watt)and cooked for the full 10 minutes. Very Easy!!

A good recipe for kids to make - teaches measuring. I didn't peel the apples, just used a combo coarer / slicer. This could be made in individual desert dishes also.
