Comments: I really like this recipe! The bars were moist and delicious. I used pumpkin pie spice in place of the cinnamon and bought a tub of the Betty Crocker cream cheese frosting to save time. I think this will be one of my favorite Autumn recipes. |

Comments: I don't like pumpkin pie, but love these bars and whenever I make them, people ask me for the receipe and are ALWAYS surprised when I tell them it's made from Bisquick. I bake in a 9 x 13 and cut them more rectangular than squre so they look like bars and not so much a cake. When I'm really pressed for time, I'll use the ready made cream cheese frosting. |

Comments: I made these as part of a dessert tray for a reception. After reading the reviews that sait it was more of a cake than a bar, I was inspired to bake it in mini muffin pans. I got about 60 out of the batch. I also heeded the advice to add 1/8 tsp allspice, 2 shakes each of nutmeg and ginger and a 1tsp of vanilla to the batter. I piped a dollop of icing on each and topped them with a piece of candy corn. Easy, seasonal, and mighty tasty to boot! |

Comments: Very disappointed with the results of the recipe. I was planning on baking "Pumpkin Bars" not Pumpkin "cake".
If someone in the "test kitchens", if there is such a think, can figure out how to make bars this would actually be a decent recipe. Until then change the name to Pumpkin Cake! |

Comments: I used the reduced Bisquick and egg substitute. I waited till the cake cooled completely then I cut them before icing. They were great and my family had no clue they were eating reduced calories and fat! These were wonderful. I give them 6 spoons! |

Comments: I think there was a misprint in the frosting recipe... ...It should be ONE package (8 oz)... NOT 3 oz.
I made it with 8oz and the consistency was GREAT!
Everyone LOVED them!!! I also sprinkled a little cinnamon on top for decoration =) ENJOY!! |

Comments: Very good but definitely more like a cake. I think it would have been better in a 9 x 13 pan instead of trying to cut it into bars. It was more like pieces of cake ... so soft and moist. My icing was not as firm as pictured either. |

Comments: I have just found this receipt and I hope that it is all most the same as the one my sister-in-law gave me about 40 years ago and I lost it in moving and I will be making it for Thanksgiving as I love it althought I don`t need the extra calories I use artificial sugar and not real sugar and that helps a lot. Thank you and keep up the good work |

Comments: This is very easy to make and I was actually surprised it came out so great. I used 1-3/4 cup brown sugar instead of 2 cups granulated sugar. Delicious and SO moist! It was so good that I decided to share with my friends. They loved it, too. This is definitely a keeper! |

Comments: This is the most awsome recipe I have come accross in a while. The only thing I changed is added a good teasopoon of vanilla to the cake mix and also to the frosting. I also added a whole cup of rasins. My son and his friend have talked me intomaking it about 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I never liked cream cheese frosting until now. This cake is just wonderful. Just be careful not to overbake it. Try it... The cake speaks for itself. |

Comments: I made thisa few nights ago for a gathering I was going to. I didn't have a 15x10x1 pan so I just used a standard baking pan 13x9 I beleive. I poured the batter in and poured a little in a loaf pan. Once it had cooled I made the frosting adding 5oz of Cream Cheese instead of 3. And then I stuck it in the fridge overnight. When I served it the next evening it was like a Moist Pumpkin Cake. It was a HUGE hit. Everyone loved it and had two or three pieces. I frosting never firmed like the picture but it was so creamy it just hit the spot. I was unable to cut it into bars but it was perfect as a cake. This ones is a keeper. |

Comments: quick, easy, moist, delicious!
I added Craisins and walnuts instead of raisins. Colorful and yummy. I prefer the original frosting but my husband doesnt care for it, so, adding an envelope of Dream whip lightened the taste enough for him. Took this to work and everyone wanted the recipe. |
