These cookies are awesome. Mine are green. It was worth waiting TWO HOURS while the dough is in the fridge.

Back in 1979 as a wedding gift I received the Betty Crocker Cookbook. I have been making these cookies for years and years and they are the best !!I went to make them for the Holidays and was so upset to find that the page was gone from my cookbook!!After tearing my kitchen apart and not finding it I though let's check your website!! Thank goodness I found it!! Tonight I will be baking the BEST sugar cookie ever!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Holidays!

These cookies were fun and easy for the kids to make but I think they really need to be frosted. They are edible, but are not very sweet, even with the sugar sprinkled on top. I made them for my daughter's class for a treat and I am hoping the kids will eat them.

Everyone in town expects "made from scratch" items from our home. So, when my nephew walked in and said he needed a stack of cookies for marching band..immediately...I needed to try something quick, easy, and little clean-up. These cookies were amazingly quick, easy, and of course, had little clean-up. Too bad the kids ate all of them before I could try a cookie out. Kid Review: "Where's more?" - Fantastic recipe! Will make (or I should say bake)again and again.

This recipe sounds very tasty and just the thing I need to use with my granddaughter (age 8) who loves to bake but she gets "too busy" with the rolling pin. We will try it next time she comes to visit and I know we will have a good time and some very "yummy" cookies.

This is a wonderful recipe. I did add 1/4 cup extra flour because I wanted a thicker denser cookie.I didn't roll it in sugar but I did flatten them. I wanted a cookie that I didn't have to roll out but I wanted to frost them. So no sugar and frosted......wonderful.
