I've made this a couple of times and we like it. Last time I used a skin on 1/2 Turkey B r e a s t so I browned it well before I put it in. My only change is to cut the wild rice down a bit. It's way too much for the two of us and the rice doesn't necessarily reheat into much more than porridge if it's already been cooking in the crock pot all day.

This was a good, hearty casserole. The seasoning was a bit off to my taste, but I trusted my boyfriend with the shopping and he decided he didn't want to buy the marjoram. We used a bit of parsley, some basil, maybe something else, and I just don't think it was the quite right combination. However, I would make this again, because it is a great meal - with the turkey, the rice, the veggies - and I would like to try it with the right seasoning!

Not bland at all, it's a season to taste dish, as are all recipes. Good and easy winter stick-to-your-ribs kind of meal.
