Comments: I made these for my daughter's 5th birthday party and they were a hit! I had rock candy sucker(like you get at the zoo or the fair) and broke off small pieces and put them in the center. I also used big pink strawberry marshmallows and all different colors of sprinkles. They turned out so pretty! I will say that it took a while so give yourself plenty of time, but they are well worth it. |

Comments: I made 3 dozen of these for my cousins birthday and they were a total hit. I put pastel candy in the center instead of the candles and they looked beautiful. I found that if you cut the marshmallows with a pair of kitchen scissors that have been oiled, it makes for less stickiness. |

Comments: I take 4 dozen cupcakes to a local soup kitchen every Monday. I usually just take plain frosted cupcakes but these looked so pretty, I thought I'd try them without candles. A small candy would look good in place of the candel.
The marshmallows adhere best if applied as soon as the cupcake is frosted. I thought the solored sugar would be fussy but it adheres to the mosit side of the marshmallow.
I found pink marshmallows in the store and the results were great! |
