Agree with marinewife5. The chocolate does take too long to dry. The only way is to put them in the freezer. If you're making to give them away, you've got to deliver them in an icebox, as the summer heat will melt them. Very attractive for special occasions, though. Does anybody have any better suggestions?

I first made these brownies last year for our school's fun fair. I made 12. They were the first thing to sell out in the bake room. This year I made 24. They were long gone before I even had a chance to buy one. They are so easy to make and such a big hit with the kids. The bake room ladies now claim they are manditory at every bake sale! I always buy two boxes and make them in a smaller pan. It makes them thicker and the stick stays in perfectly. Great recipe.

The first time I made these were back in 2006 for 120+ 8th graders, and they all loved them. So, come that fall when I had to make something to bring and sell for my Drama Class, these were what I made... and let me tell you, not only did my class (college students) LOVE them, they were the first item to be sold out. They are so simple to make, yet I can make anyone do almost anything for a "Brownie-on-a-stick". They are the most requested item I make. The only thing I do different is that I mix 2 boxes of brownie mix together (for a 13x9 pan), because if I do it any other way they are always too thin.

These were great. I made them smaller for my grandson 6th birthday. They were a huge hit not only with the kids but the adults too. these would make great bake sale item. Buy the little bags at the craft store and then wrapping up like suckers.

I made a double batch of these for a Baby Shower we had at work for one of my friends. I dipped them in melted white chocolate chips (I melted them in a double boiler and omitted the shortening -it worked better) and then sprinkled half of them with pink sugar and the other half with blue. I also used Ice Cream Sticks. They were SUCH a HIT!!! (Not to mention delicious) I will definitely make these again (maybe using red white and blue decos for the 4th of July) Everyone asked me where I got the idea for these and I happily referred them to Betty Crocker.com!!! Thanks!!!

I just finished making these for my son's class. They turned out SO cute! I used bark coating for dipping, just because I like how quickly it sets. I'm sure they kids will love this end of the school year treat!

I'm making these treats right now actually...and I probably won't be attempting again. I am a very creative baker and these are much more trouble than they are worth. The only three I've dipped so far are still in the drying stage so I haven't even tasted them, but its pretty much a given, IF they dry, they will be delicious...my rating in on the ease of the directions only. I did not use the foil as suggested, unnecessary since my pan releases perfectly. The freezing process makes the stick wiggle so much inside the cavity were placed, they fall off the stick...so much for the fun of eating off the stick! I don't think I'll finish the task as recipe...think I'll cut into smaller bite size pcs. and dip completely...maybe even use candy coating instead of the chips...sets up so much faster, and the chocolate "crunch" is more candy-like.

I just had to tell everyone how wonderful these brownies are. I followed the recipe, but being a chocolate lover that I am, I had to frost all of the brownie with chocolate. Oh my....soooo GOOD!!!!! It was also kinda fun eating a brownie off a stick...
