This was a good quick meal & could probably be easily converted to use in a crock pot as well. I read the comments about the blandness, and since my sauce (tomato & basil) wasn't quite the size necessary, I added a can of diced tomatoes w/ bell peppers, some garlic (when browning) & some Old Bay seasoning. Also, I chopped up a variety of mini bell peppers (from Costco) instead of one big one. It ended up being a great one-dish meal for after a cold soccer practice. Next time I will probably add (hide) some carrots & beets in w/ the sauce, & the kids requested just plain biscuits instead of the rosemary ones I served.

I agree with most everyone that this is not bad, it is not impressivly great either. This is one I will probably use when I am rushed and at a complete loss as to what else to make for dinner. It is very easy and probably next to to impossible to mess up. I had no problem with the noodles being added according to the recipe directions either, I did add a little more sauce than the recipe called for and use fresh mushrooms, black olives (cause I had 'em)and added some salt. Other than that I pretty much stuck with the recipe.

I thought it was quick, easy, and good. I had no problem with the noodles and will make it again exactly as the recipe is written. Some people may like to add salt.

Noodles should be cooked separtly. Flavor is just not there. Needs more, mushrooms, vegtables, maybe sausage. It is very filling and budget friendly.

Hearty, and satisfying for a easy quick supper, it wasn't the most flavorful, but it fills you up and I added tons of veggies to make even healthier. Its great if your on a budget. It will be a once a month or so meal, freezes well too!

I have 4 children. IF one likes a receipt someone is usually complaining. All of my children and my husband loved it. They actually asked if I would make it again. It's quick and easy so I'm sure it will be my go to receipt.

I had no problem with the noodles. This was very easy & tasted great especially the leftovers. I buy my hamburger in bulk & brown it up before I package it in 1lb bags & freeze it. Use frozen onions & peppers and the already browned hamburger it makes a very quick week night meal. This is going to be a staple in our busy house.

I agree that noodles should be cooked separately. Not very flavorful either, even after adding some things. Maybe it would be better with a homemade sauce. Will not make again.

Extremely easy, very good. The family loved it. I added a little white cooking wine and mozeralla cheese to make it a little more flavorful.

Very good, plus super easy to change in various ways. Fresh mushrooms, different pasta's; using leftover sauces make it even better! I've also made this with leftover chicken and beef roast, sliced thinly. Works beautifully. One can also spice it towards the Mexican flavors, like I did with the chicken, using Salsa, chilies, etc. Came out extra delicious! Don't be afraid to experiment, life's short, live it to the fullest!!! ENJOY, Rebecca in Tucson, AZ
