Found this recipe earlier this year and have made them numerous times! My son and his friends at school request them all the time! In fact, my son's birthday is tomorrow and I'm making them right now-he would rather have them than cake! I couldn't find my printed recipe, so I'm glad it's in my recipe box here.

The cookies taste delicious but were a pain to make. I refrigerated the dough but even then it was hard to work with. I'll stick with my simpler recipes.

i slightly changed this recipe and they were AWESOME! i brought them into school and people were saying they were the best cookies they ever had! my variation: i probably added about 2 teaspoons of cinnamon into the sugar cookie dough then rolled it flat onto a peice of wax paper. then i brushed melted butter over the top of the cookie dough sheet and completely covered it in cinnamon. next i rolled it into log and let it sit for a few hours in the fridge. when i took it out i just rolled it a little bit more (because one side got a little flat from sitting) and sliced them like "slice and bake" cookies. But i used the same glaze and it was fantastic. i loved this idea

This recipe is great. It was so much fun to try. Some people mentioned that the dough was hard to work with so I refrigerated it for about 2 hours and it became rather easy to roll out.

These cookies lasted less than 10 minutes. Everyone who tried one had at least one more, sometimes even 5 more. They were THAT good. They were easy and fun to make, as well.

This is a new favorite. If I can make them, anyone can. The glaze came out a little thin, so I drizzled it on in two applications. The tip at the bottom of the recipe really worked great. Even my eight year old could do this one with very few directions. The taste is unbelievable! It tastes just like a cinnamon roll. Thanks, Betty Crocker, and thanks to all the reviewers who helped convince a novice to give this recipe a try!!!!

ROLL THEM OUT & SLICE! I made these once before the way written & I didn't mind it but as many have said it was time consuming. So when I read someone's idea of rolling the dough into a rectangle then slicing I thought - GREAT IDEA! I followed the directions for the cut-out cookie mix (on the bag) which reduces the softened butter to 1/3 cup & add 1T flour. I also added the 1/2 tsp cinnamon in the mix per original directions. I rolled it out and shaped into a rectangle. Sprinkled the cinnamon on top & rolled the dough up. I then refrigerated it for about an hour (you could freeze for 10 minutes) just until it was cold enough to slice neatly. They turned out just as perfect as the first time with much less time and effort! They still look like mini-cinnamon rolls and taste just as great. So for those of you complaining about rolling out, stickiness, etc. Try this method - my big hint - flour the board well! These are great cookies that I will make again and again (both ways).

these cookies tasted very good. however the hassle of rolling out the douch and trying to get all the cinamon on the same side and then rolling them into a perfect spiral was hard. The dough was really sticky and hard to work with. Overall these cookies were not worth the while.

These cookies were a big hit. The only downfall is that the dough was not very workable. I finally gave up and just rolled the dough into balls and then rolled them in a cinnamon sugar mixture and baked them. After they were done baking, I glazed them. They were gone in a matter of minutes!

These cookies look and taste excellent! Whenever I have taken them to a get together I have had several requests for the recipe. However, if you are in a hurry, this is not the recipe for you. When I make them I must make sure I have extra time but I feel they are totally worth it! I will make the dough up the night before which speeds things up for when I do bake them. My husband loves cinnamon rolls and so these are a big hit with him. Thanks to the genius who came up with this recipe.

These cookies were fun to make, but also difficult at the same time. The doug was not very easy to roll out, and it was hard to roll in the cinnamon. It was fun to glaze them.
