I made these last night.. I wasnt sure if i was to follow the directions on the cookie mix, or just add it to the butter and cream cheese, so I just added the butter and cream cheese. Idk if I waited a bit too long to put on the cherries but I couldn't spread them around as one reviewer said, as they sank into the cheesecake. I used 2 cans of cherries, less almonds. They are so good. no one will stay out of them. Half the pan is missing already! Will make again! THANK YOU!! ps.. I agree.. was hard to stop eating the cookie crust.. lol

The cookie dough crust was the best ever! My daughter and I kept eating it lol I have to adjust the bake time next time I make them though. We arent the biggest cherry fans so I made a simple syrup & added it to fresh raspberries. Used a hand mixer to puree them & spread on top of the cheesecake mixture. Added the Almond Streusel on top & oh wow! So good...Ill definitely be making these again. I have a small slice here and there its so great & interchangeable :) different fruits & berries...next time Im using mangos :P

I made these for our monthly church potluck lunch October 4th and they were a HUGE hit. In fact I'm eating a leftover piece right now, just so that I'm certain to post an honest review... ;) Mmmmmm...!!! These had JUST the right amount of almond flavouring. They're also attractive without any extra fussing.

This dessert is absolutely amazing! I used my food processor to make the crust using the pulse button until the mixture was crumbly. My daughter took the bars to her high school for a food project, and they were the hit of her sociology class with kids coming in later in the day asking the teacher for 3rd's of Shelly's dessert! haha The bars are a must for Christmas this year!

These are AMAZING! I was NOT impressed at all with the apple streusel ones, but my husband took these to his potluck at work and ALL the guys loved them and brought some home for their wives to try! It was the only plate that got emptied :)

I bake something new for my co-workers once a month, something I have done for a few years now. Everyone voted this one the best! It is not overly sweet, but the cherry/almond/cheesecake combo is simply perfect. I will for sure make them again

These were good...but I definitely recommend not using fat free cream cheese! They tasted great, but the cheesecake part was a bit rubbery-I might try these again in the future using regular cream cheese.

My sister makes fabulous desserts and always outdoes the rest of us. These squares were a hit with everyone at a recent get-together and were pronounced the Grand Champion! Of course I cheated slightly and bought a prize winning ribbon and put it on my squares when she wasn't looking! She was a good sport and laughed with the rest of us as we ate those delicious squares.

I really liked this recope. I like the cooky crust. I altered it some. Instead of the cherry I used carmel sauce, chocolate sauce and peanuts. I call it snickers cheescake. It was very goodbut I got the idea after seeing this recipe.

Whoa..these are one of the very best desserts I have ever tasted. I took them to the office after getting such a rave from my family. I don't believe there was anyone who didn't love them. I was sure there wasn't enough cherry pie filling when I first made this but if you take the time to just spread it out as best as possible it will turn out great. This was a little on the expensive side but well worth it for perfection. It looks like it came from a bakery and was so easy to make. Can't wait to try other pie fillings with this. This is a keeper for sure!

These are delicious! I sprinkled a cup of white chocolate chips between the crust and the cream cheese layer. I will be making these again.
