it looks better than it tastes. the crust was very hard and the cheesecake just tasted like coffee cheesecake. I might attempt to make this again adding more flavorful ingredients and trying something different for crust

Only so-so. I thought the crust was way too thick and very hard to cut. Still searching for that easy Tiramisu recipe...

Fabulous recipe, taste-wise. There are a few changes I made to the recipe for a few reasons: One of tiramisu's main ingredient is rum...and without rum, I'm sorry, one cannot consider itself Tiramisu related and it would just be coffee cheesecake with chocolate chips. So, I added one and a half teaspoons of rum flavouring b/c I didn't have rum on hand. Definitely tasted more like tiramisu then. Excellent, in fact The frosting is awful... it needs a handful or so of sugar in it and a dash of vanilla. Otherwise it just tastes like cream cheese and whipped cream, which just isn't a great flavour . So I did add the above, and it was better. Also, the aluminum foil suggestion is great but it is a pain to cut with that foil. My suggestion would to be just do "cup-cake" versions of this recipe, and that would be best. So that way you don't have to worry about the aluminum foil on the bottom or anything.

Several steps, but not hard to do. The results were worth it. Lots of compliments, too.

These cookie bars are wonderful...I should have made twice the amount as everyone wanted to take some home. They are delicious and special enough for any holiday and easy enough to make for any day.

These bars tasted alright. The most negative comment I have is their hardness. After chilling for 2 hours they were rock-solid; I could barely cut through them. I would recommend taking them out of the fridge about 20 minutes before you intend to cut/serve.

I tried these bars as they received such rave reviews, however the result was disappointing. I followed the recipe exactly but all I could taste was coffee. My husband will eat anything I make and even he won't eat these. Sadly, I had to discard the entire pan! This is the 1st time I have had such poor results from a Betty Crocker recipe. I hope it's the last....

These were great! I used pre-made sugar cookie dough because I was pressed for time and I used the rest of the mini-chips on top instead of chocolate shavings. Even people who didn't like cheesecake or tiramisu liked these.

This is SOO de-lish! Totall worth the time and effort put into it. i found it best to make the base, and the cheese cake filling one day then let it cool overnight before placing the toping on. I would definately make this again. I used the 1/3 fat philly cream cheese. Made it for my co-workers one took some home with him.

Who would have thought a cookie could taste so good? These were the first thing to fly off the dessert table this weekend.

I like tiramisu, but this is even better. It's also a fun pick-up version of dessert.
