Just did this at a Scout meeting to keep the kids occupied while it rained outside. We used fruit roll ups and gum drops and with a little imagination, the girls came up with some pretty cool designs for their "spring flowers". It was a bit "sticky", but it kept young fingers occupied and young minds imagining!

Comments:
I made this once, and it was mediocre. I'm not fond of the colored licorice. I've had it before. It made the cupcakes look nice, but that was all. I like the old fashioned licorice taste. Maybe if I had children, they might like the 'new' colored licorice.

very decorative. the children love it and using more than one color on a cupcake makes it more lovely
