Comments: These are cute but don't put the candy canes in until the last 2 minutes MAX! If you are baking for the 7-9 minutes (2" cookies), at 7 minutes pop in the candy canes, but angle them slightly so they don't rest directly on the cookie sheet. If you goof, you could use the melted candy canes as stained glass windows for ginger bread houses! |

Comments: This method of frosting is wonderful and keeps the cookies soft. Evryone raved about them at the office and home. |

Comments: The candy canes melted and while a pretty example it makes me wonder if these were the only three that worked. My guess is that cookies just don't belong on a tree! Hats off to those that made this recipe a success!!! |

Comments: I loved this idea and thought it would be fun, but the candycanes melted. I put them directly on the cookie sheet because I didn't have parchment paper. Would that make a difference? If anyone knows, please write. |
