Comments: I recently made this recipe for a party. It was well received by family and friends. I made two changes to the recipe...the first one was with the cherries, I used the "lite" and the second change was I made them as mini muffins as opposed to the standard size. It would be helpful if times and temps were given for the various pans, etc. Would I make this again? YES! |

Comments: I went to a party this past Saturday. I made the Black Forest Muffin Cakes and brought them to the party. They were a big hit with everyone. I told them where I got the recipe and promised to e-mail it to them the next day. They asked me how to sign up and I told them how. Thanks so much for the recipes you send- -I love trying new things. Gloria |

Comments: Awesome treat. It's also good to use the mix with peanut butter chips, instead of cherry filling ...about 5 or 6 p'nut butter chips per muffin cake. There are many variations you can use with this recipe. |

Comments: Love the simplicity of this recipe. Quick and easy. The cherries give the chocolate a richness withoutthe super-sweetness that can be had with just chocolate. For a more elegant presentation I would place the muffinsdirectly in the well greased muffin pan (reserve some of the 'dry' mix to dust the pans after spraying them with oil). Then there will be no 'flour' residue on the muffins. |
