Comments: This recipe is so fantastic, I got two picky toddlers and a husband who hates fish to eat plate after plate. I used catfish and dark beer which probably put a different (yet very positive) spin on the flavor. I doubled the recipe and used the leftovers to make fish sandwiches the next day....also spectacular. Nothing but rave reviews for this one. |

Comments: We did not make the sauce, we only used the batter. This batter was awesome! We used fresh caught striper as well as some previously frozen halibut. It was amazing! I am looking forward to trying it on some green tomatos very soon. Highly recommend this for any of your beer batter needs. This is comming from someone who's family once owned a seafood restraunt that specialized in deep fried fish. |

Comments: I made this beer-batter last week and used it on some bass and cod we had in the freezer. My boys LOVED the fish! I will be making this batter again. I want to try it on zucchini and onion rings. I'm sure it will be great. |

Comments: I fixed this for my husband for dinner last night. I don't like fish, but thought this sounded like something I'd like if I did. Unfortunately my husband said the flavor was just "alright" and the batter was "too heavy". |

Comments: I have used this batter with and without the chili powder. I not only use it on fish but onion rings, okra, squash ect... Have never had anything but compliments. You will not be disappointed in this recipe. The green chili tarter the adults like but the kids were not thrilled. |
