Comments: This recipe was delicious and definitely looked harder than it was. My family was so impressed, yet had no idea how easy it was! I pounded the chicken flat first so it would cook evenly, making it "fall-apart" tender, and we especially loved the rice. The coating was deliciously crunchy. Next time I will make a sauce of chicken broth, cornstarch, and a touch of the orange marmalade to go on top, but all-in-all, this is a keeper! It will definitely be filed under "quick recipes" in my recipe box! |

Comments: Whole family liked this one but it needs a sauce. So I used 1/2C. water, 2T. Cornstarch, 1/2C. sugar, 1C. OJ, 1/2tsp salt. Very good on rice. I also doubled orange zest in coating. It really brought out the ginger. Will definitely make often. |

Comments: Good recipe, I used 1-1/3 cup chicken broth and 2/3 cup water, otherwise rice is too salty.
Next time I'd add 3 heaping tablespoons of orange marmalade in rice and 2-1/2 tsp. orange zest and 1 tsp. ground ginger in Bisquick mix for more flavor to fried chicken. Will make this recipe again. Husband loved it too! |

Comments: I used Brown rice and asian red rice(need our whole grains) not the white rice. Grated fresh ginger made the dish pop. This is very tasty and I'll make it again. |

Comments: You dont need orange marmalade for this recipe. I deglazed the pan with the juice of the orange I used for the zest and added a pat of butter to finish the sauce. Then I just poured the orange juice sauce over the hot rice. it was delicious but needed a little salt. My kids (12 &16) would not eat the rice because they didnt like the almonds but everyone loved the chicken. |

Comments: The only ingredient with a lot of salt is the broth--just use low sodium broth instead. |

Comments: Who uses orange marmalade? I rated this recipe a "3", because I refuse to buy ingredients that will only work for one dish. Instead I used orange zest and freshly squeezed juice from two oranges mixed with 2 tbsp. of brown sugar. |

Comments: I didn't quite have everything on hand for this but used the fried chicken recipe. I did not have an orange, did not top w/ almonds and did not serve with rice. But the chicken came out great! I cannot wait to try the recipe in its entirety. |
