This meal is amazing. The baby, 3 year old, and 5 yearold eat it all! How else could I get them to love kidney beans :) Even my best friend who is married to an amazing man who grew up on his grandmothers authentic mexican cooking is excited about this recipe! The beans really fill up my husband and I, which makes it one of our new diet favorites. We use this in our plan and feel full and still watch the pounds fall off - and except for low fat ground beef, low fat cheese, and low fat sour cream we are not using any diet substitutions! It's so good, we serve it for company when they come. Adults praise my great cooking - how cool is that, and it pleases even the neighbors kids :) A+++ This is a winner. |

Will definitely make this again. Made with ground turkey, and added fat free refried beans which gave a nice texture. I'd prefer making with beef but want to start eating healthy, this was very filling. Made with spanish rice which was a great compliment. Husband loved it also. |

My family of VERY picky eaters loves this recipe. It's delicious!!! I buy ground beef in bulk, brown and freeze it in one pound portions. It's perfect for throwing together last minute for a GREAT dinner. We keep the soft taco dinner kit on hand at all times! |

Mile-High Salsa Pie is a family favorite. I serve it with Old El Paso Spanish Rice. It is easy and YUMMY!!! There are no left overs when I prepare this recipe!!! |
