Comments: Really easy and delicious. I am not a big sweet potato fan but loved these. They cooked perfectly fine and did not turn to mush, and I followed the cooking times as written in the recipe. So nice to have a dish 'cook itself' which leaves lots of time for everything else going on in the kitchen on a holiday! |

Comments: I would rate this pretty good. Twice baked sweet potatoes were MUCH better. Super easy and tasty. Mine didn't turn to total mush and I did cook them overnight. You need a slow cooker that heats all around the crock and NOT just the bottom because the potatoes are so dense. I'd venture you could cook this in the oven at low heat and have good results as well. We all love sweet potatoes and I use them year round so I thought this would be the trick ticket for packaging up lots of leftovers, but it just didn't go over that well here. Could be we're just spoiled by the twice-baked I usually make each year! If you want easy, this IS it but I think both flavor and texture could be improved upon. |

Comments: This is the greatest sweet potatoe recipe that I ever tried. I doubled the recipe and let it go over night. It worked out perfect. They didn't turn to mush at all. I used the fresh ones and did bigger cubes. I plan to use this all the time now. It saves me time so that I can work on other things for our Thanksgiving dinner. Plus it frees up my oven for the rolls and turkey! You got to try this!!!! You will also agree with me! |

Comments: This recipe was delicious. I followed the recipe except I cooked it for 3.5 hours on HIGH. So I made sure the potatoes were still solid (not mush). Everyone loved them. Even the people that don't like sweet potatoes. |

Comments: I tried this again and substituted Splenda Brown Sugar Blend for the regular brown sugar. Same great results as before. Tastes great heated up with leftovers. |

Comments: This just didn't cook in my slow cooker - even on high. I ended up spooning it into a casserole dish for the oven instead. Applesauce adds a nice flavor. Overall very good, but will use cooked sweet potatoes next time I put this in a slow cooker. |

Comments: I tried this for an "early Thanksgiving" yesterday. It was a hit! I followed the recipe exactly. Used red sweet potatoes. Even though I had to hold it hot for a couple of extra hours it didn't turn to mush. Next time I might play with the spices a little. I'm going to try it with Splenda. |

Comments: I had never made anything for Thanksgiving before this past year. I was asked by the in-laws to bring sweet potatoes. Thanks to Betty Crocker.com, I was able to make a fool proof really delicious sweet potato dish. FULL OF FLAVOR! I doubled the recipe, and cooked overnight for the next day and it worked great! |
