This cake is delicious! I followed the recipe exactly and was very pleased with the results. I used the "simplified" glaze of warmed canned frosting.

I have had so many compliments on this recipe! I did change it a little though, I only used ground ginger and grated fresh orange rind into the cake. I also did not use the frosting recipe. I am asked to make this at every summer event we go to for the past 3 yrs.
