Comments: After reading the other reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I doubled the spices and added a splash of Tabasco and was quite happy with the way this dish turned out. |

Comments: My family is not big on spinach, so I added french cut green beans instead and exchanged pinto beans for the black eyed peas. I also added a dash of cumin and red pepper to add some spice and flavor. Combined with a chicken breast marinated with southwestern rub it was a satisfying meal. |

Comments: Really excellent and truly simple to prepare. I was worried that garlic salt as the only seasoning would yield a bland dish. I was wrong!A dash of hot sauce (Frank's, Cholula, or Tabasco) is just the right touch to wake this dinner up. |

Comments: The color of the food looked appetizing the texture was good, but I agree, it was lacking something. Had no taste at all! It looked so good but the flavor was disappointing. Other than this dish everything I have made from Betty Crocker has been delicious! |

Comments: This dish was very colorful and the black eyed peas made it taste like there was meat in it. The flavors meshed really well together, however, I couldn't help but think that it needed something. Just couldn't put my finger on it. |

Comments: At first it didn't sound so good but if you add a little extra seasoning, it is pretty tasty. Both my kids are it without a fight (they are 3 1/2 and 1 1/2). I recommend it with quesadillas. |
