THis recipe was sickeningly sweet. 2 cups of brown sugar, it was too sweet to eat. |

Great recipe. What a perfect Fall Dish! Very flavourful. The cranberries work very well with the apples. FYI- -I kept waiting for the dough for the top to be crumbly but it's sticky instead. Perhaps that's how it's supposed to be. I used macintosh apples as the recipe didn't specify a type. As this dish tends to bubble over I made sure to put the 2 quart on a cookie sheet. Some excellent recipes on this website! |
